Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Administration Specialist, you will be part of our Operations & Finance department. Together, we ensure that financial processes run smoothly, challenges are resolved professionally, and new services and/or products can also be properly supported from an administrative perspective.
In this role, you play an important part within our team. You are able to plan your work effectively, take ownership, and work independently. Strong communication skills are equally important, as well as the ability to connect information, identify patterns, and provide well-founded financial advice. You will act as a sparring partner for our CEO. Our team continuously works on further professionalization, and a healthy dose of energy and initiative is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for the financial administration, including the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable administration. You will process bank and payment provider transactions, perform checks on financial transactions (both purchasing and sales), and monitor inventory balances. You will collect financial data for various budgets and carry out monthly and annual direct debit activities. In addition, you will independently perform month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare management reports and financial analyses.
You will safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of financial and administrative data, while ensuring compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001 guidelines.
Finally, you proactively identify opportunities to improve administrative and financial processes and take the initiative to implement these improvements, with a strong focus on efficiency and risk management. You are an important point of contact for administrative questions, support customers and internal stakeholders, and work closely with various departments.

Your Strengths
- At least a completed HBO degree, preferably in Finance or a related field;
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with Excel;
- Experience with AFAS or a similar financial software package is considered a plus;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English;
- Strong numerical insight and analytical skills;
- A high level of independence and ownership;
- A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to connect information and identify patterns.
